ISP or Internet Service Provider – is a company that provides access to the Internet using dial-up or other means of data exchange (ranging from traditional modem dial-up to DSL and cable modem broadband service to dedicated T1/T3 lines). ISPs may provide such services as email accounts, web hosting, etc. ISPs are also called IAPs (Internet Access Providers).
